Introduction

I start this blog concomitantly with a new position at the University of California, Davis in the Scott lab working on the spatial dimension of dengue transmission within a population in Iquitos, Peru. I aspire to comment on miscellaneous topics in ecology and science at large, especially as it relates to this project, my dissertation research, and spatial ecology.
