A brief and rough outline of some items to (hopefully) appear here in the near future:
- A revisit of my thesis and thoughts and questions related to spatial population ecology in general, theoretical terms.
- Some discussion of complexity theory, agent-based or individual-based modeling, and how these inform current thinking in ecology and related fields.
- An introduction to Aedes aegypti, the principle vector of dengue virus (and also a vector of yellow fever) and the subject of my post-doctoral research.
- Some discussion of epidemiological theory relating to disease transmission and its analogy to the metapopulation theory of population dynamics among spatially subdivided populations.
etc.
